The work explores ways of thinking about biological and mechanical entities. Ideas of memory, processing and capacity emerge within this exploration, opening questions about how we understand and describe different forms of activity.

It considers what these terms mean in each context, and how they shape our understanding of an entity’s abilities and limits. Each entity is approached through how it operates and the language we use to make sense of it.
